When it comes to a game that can be played with cool strategies, but isn't crammed with endless complexity – you can't beat baccarat. Don't think for one minute that baccarat is second best to games like poker and blackjack – James Bond doesn't think so, Vegas pro's don't think so – and once you try it, neither will you……..

Baccarat Basics
Baccarat isn't s complex game, and that makes it ideal for new gamers and pro's alike. In contrast to some table games, baccarat wagering takes place before the round begins – with no 'in-play' intervention and side bets. In fact, there are just three baccarat bets to learn, and they couldn't be much simpler – just choose to wager on:

1. The house
2. The player
3. The tie

When trying to pick a winning bet, bear in mind that every baccarat round starts with a two card deal to the dealer and the player, with the ultimate baccarat score being 9 (a 2 card 9 combo), with cards having the following scores:

aces = +1
cards 2 - 9 = face value
10's and face cards = 0

As you can see, any card over 10 scores 0, meaning a traditional score of 18, becomes 8! Take a look at the range of baccarat scores, and the play outs they produce:

8 or 9 = freeze hand
Tie = ends round
Gamer hand is 6 or more = stand.
Gamer score of 5 or less = 1 more card.
Dealer hand of 7+ = stand.
House hand of 0 or 1 = 1 more card.
House hand = 3, and gamer’s third card is not 8 = house hits.
House hand = 4, and the gamer’s third hand is not a 1, 8, 9 or 0 = house hits.
House total = 5, and the gamer has a 4, 5, 6 or 7 = house hits.
House combo = 6, and the gamer’s third card is a 6 or 7 = house hits.

Basic baccarat have odds of 1:1 for a winning hand, but a huge 8:1 for a draw!

Baccarat is one of the world's most infamous skill and strategy games, with systems such as card counting being used by hardcore Vegas casinos to legally scam thousands. However, such strategies are not considered usable on the web. Fortunately, there's an array of simple techniques that can be used to boost your fun and potentially your rewards. For example, check out the famous Lambouchere betting chain, and give it a try with free casino bonuses:

Rule 1: Write down a string of numbers (for example; 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
Rule 2: Place a bet = to the total of the first and last number (2+6=8)

Rule 3: If you win, cross off the first and last number and continue along the chain. If your wager fails, add the sum bet to the end of the series (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

Rule 4: Repeat the Labouchere strategy until you have cross out every number on the chain
